TERMS OF SERVICE

SECTION 1 - WHO WE ARE

This store is operated by GuardWell Home, trading as GuardWell Home, at 292 Menahan St, Brooklyn, NY 11237. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

SECTION 2 - WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

The Digital Handoff is a digital guide delivered as a downloadable file. PDF, letter size (8.5 x 11 in), print-ready, 37 pages. Prices are in USD.

SECTION 3 - WHAT THIS GUIDE IS NOT

The Digital Handoff is an organisational tool. It is not legal, financial, tax, or professional advice, and no lawyer-client or advisor-client relationship is created by buying or reading it.

It does not create, alter, revoke, or substitute for a will, a trust, a power of attorney, a beneficiary designation, or any other legal instrument. It does not grant anyone authority over another person's property, accounts, or affairs. Estate, probate, and privacy law vary by state and by country, and what is permitted in one place may not be in another.

For beneficiary designations, trusts, business interests, blended families, or property in more than one jurisdiction, consult a qualified attorney licensed where you live. The guide says this in its own text as well.

SECTION 4 - ACCURACY AND THIRD-PARTY PROCEDURES

The guide describes procedures published by third parties including Apple, Google, Meta, Microsoft, and password manager vendors. Every such procedure was checked against that company's own published documentation on the verification date printed in the guide. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of those companies.

These procedures change without notice and we do not control them. Where a company does not publish a detail, the guide says so and marks the claim as unconfirmed rather than stating it as fact. Confirm any step against the provider's current documentation before relying on it. We are not responsible for a third party changing, restricting, or withdrawing a feature described in the guide.

SECTION 5 - YOUR LICENCE

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the guide for yourself and your immediate household. You may print it, and you may print and fill in the worksheets as many times as you like.

You may not resell it, republish it, share the file publicly, upload it to a file-sharing or content site, or use it to create a competing product. You may show it to your attorney, accountant, or the person you name in it, because that is what it is for.

SECTION 6 - NO GUARANTEED OUTCOME

Following the guide does not guarantee that any particular person will be able to access any particular account. Access depends on the provider's policies, on the documentation your family can produce, and on steps you complete correctly. We make no promise about the outcome of any provider's process.

SECTION 7 - LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GuardWell Home is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the guide, including lost data, lost account access, or lost assets. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing limits your statutory consumer rights.

SECTION 8 - REFUNDS

See our Refund Policy. In short: 30 days, no reason required, and you keep the file.

SECTION 9 - CHANGES

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at the time of your order. Material changes will be reflected on this page.

SECTION 10 - GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
